Bark in the Park & Tails and Trails 3K set for March 22

February 05 2025

AUBURN, Ala.- Lace up your running shoes and leash up your furry friend for a "paw-some" day of fun at the 13th-annual Bark in the Park, hosted by Active Auburn! Join us on Saturday, March 22, at Kiesel Park for the 5th-annual Tails and Trails 3K and an exciting day celebrating responsible pet ownership.

The fun begins at 9 a.m. with the Tails and Trails 3K, a non-timed fun run for you and your furriest running partner. Stick around after the race for Bark in the Park, running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a variety of vendors and activities for dog lovers of all ages.

Registration for the Tails and Trails 3K is available online. This year, registration is completely free! Participants may also purchase an optional event T-shirt for $15. To guarantee your preferred T-shirt size, please register by Thursday, March 6. A limited number of T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the event for late registrants.

Missed out on T-shirts from previous years? You can purchase them at auburnal.myrec.com.

Although the Tails and Trails 3K is not timed, there will still be plenty of excitement at the finish line! Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall finishers, and don’t miss the best-dressed pup contest. Winners will be announced at 9:45 a.m. near the starting line.

Make it a full day by enjoying Bark in the Park, where you can browse booths from local vendors, learn about responsible pet ownership and meet other dog lovers in the community.
